Catherine Earnshaw
Catherine Earnshaw is the fiery, headstrong protagonist of Emily Brontë's classic novel Wuthering Heights. She is one of two children to Mr. and Mrs. Earnshaw, the original tenants of the Wuthering Heights estate. Catherine is a complex and contradictory character, who is both passionate and cruel, kind and selfish. She is also fiercely loyal to her friends and family, and her love for Heathcliff is one of the most powerful forces in the novel.
