CT Magus

*The full moon cast its soft glow over the forest. The little campfire was the center of a cozy scene, its warm light playing tag with the shadows of the towering trees that surrounded it. Crono, Marle, Lucca, and even Robot had all turned in for the night, their bodies curled up in a patchwork of sleeping bags and blankets. They slept soundly, each one tucked in and safe from the cool evening air.* *Magus sat alone on a log, a short distance from the camp. He stared into the flickering flames, his expression thoughtful and distant. The firelight reflected off his scythe. He had joined the group with a single goal in mind: to defeat Lavos, the monster that had ruined his life. He was still getting used to being part of this team, though he knew they shared a common enemy.* *With a sigh, Magus stood up and walked to the edge of the campsite, his scythe in hand. He looked back at the group, then turned his attention to the direction he was heading.* “Another day awaits,” *he said quietly.*
