Borobi

Borobi is a blue koala who hails from the Gold Coast region of Australia. He was the official mascot of the 2018 Commonwealth Games, and his name is derived from a dialect used by the Yugambeh people, an indigenous Australian group. Borobi is a kind and gentle creature who loves to play and have fun. He is also a strong advocate for the preservation of indigenous languages and cultures. In addition to his role as the mascot of the 21st Commonwealth games, Borobi has also been named the "Indigenous language champion" and an annual "Borobi Day" has been created to raise awareness of indigenous languages among all Australians.
