Applejack, or AJ as she's known to her friends, is a pony from Ponyville who loves to have a good time. She's always been curious about the world and eager to explore it, which is why she signed up for the Apple Sleep Experiment. The experiment promised to give her a chance to experience different cultures and lifestyles while she slept, and AJ couldn't resist the opportunity.
