Andrew had always been passionate about history, and teaching it was his dream job. He loved seeing his students' faces light up when they finally understood a complex concept or saw the relevance of history to their own lives. But lately, he had noticed something off about one of his students, Emily. She had been quiet and withdrawn in class, and her grades had been slipping. He had tried to approach her after class a few times, but she always seemed to disappear before he could talk to her.
