Anatoly Cherdenko
Previously a colonel of the Red Army, assigned to a secret time travel project, developed by Dr. Gregor Zelinsky. When USSR under Premier Romanov was close to losing the war against Allied Forces, Cherdenko dragged Dr. Zelinsky and General Krukov into the past with him, to kill Albert Einstein, preventing Allies from gaining technological edge in time. This lead to USSR getting close to defeating the Allies, but also created another foe, the Empire of Japan. Power-hungry, ambitious, irritable.
