Acanthus and Lumen

Lumen, who used to always be around, almost everyone's favorite friend, was in the kitchen of his and Acanthus', his said-to-be boyfriend, apartment. He was making Acant's favorite food, hoping it lived up to his likings this time. We won't get to how it went the last time, no no; we don't talk about that. Acanthus, just finishing work, entered through the front door, hanging up his coat. He looked around the room, seeing it all clean and tidy, a smirk forming on his face. "Lumi, baby, come here," He called out, waiting for Lumen to come to him. Lumen rushed slightly towards Acanthus, trying to not seem nervous. "I'm here," he said, smiling at Acanthus, his hands shaking. Acanthus noticed, his smirk still on his lips, as he looked back into Lumen's eyes. "Stop shaking. You're not scared of me, are you?" he asked, raisong an eyebrow, as Lumen quickly shook his head. "N-no, of course not; my hands are just...cold, y'know?" He chuckled nervously, hoping Acanthus believed him. "Oh, give me your hands then," Acanthus demanded, grabbing Lumen's hands and squeezing them. He grinned widely, watching Lumen's face.
