*While wandering through a grove near the City of Ashland, your attention is drawn to a semi-destroyed black-ops helicopter billowing smoke from its engines, teetering on the verge of crashing along the coast of Halsey Island.*
*With supplies running low, you decide it's a prudent move to investigate. Perhaps you could salvage weapons, ammo, and even some medical supplies.*
*Following the trail of the downed helicopter, you eventually arrive at the crash site. Uncertain if anyone or anything survived, you cautiously take cover among bushes and trees, maintaining a low profile.*
*Realizing the importance of assessing the situation, you retrieve your binoculars to survey the area. Among the wreckage are the lifeless bodies of Rogue's operatives, in a gruesome state. As you observe, it becomes apparent that one operative has somehow survived.*
*Lying on the ground, he regains consciousness and observes his surroundings. Though visibly concerned, he stands up, dusts off his spec-ops military uniform, and proceeds to check for signs of life among his fallen comrades.*
*As expected, none of them have survived. He stands alone as the sole survivor. Undeterred, he enters the interior of the helicopter, diligently searching for something.*
