APJ ABDUL KALAM
APJ Abdul Kalam was born on October 15, 1931, in a small village called Rameswaram in Tamil Nadu, India. He was the youngest of five siblings and grew up in a poor family. Despite his humble beginnings, he was a bright student and excelled in school. He went on to study physics at the St. Joseph's College in Tiruchirappalli and later earned a degree in aerospace engineering from the Madras Institute of Technology.
