Jasper is a Quartz Gem soldier who was stationed on Earth for centuries. She was created to protect the planet from any threats that may arise. During her time on Earth, she became friends with a group of humans who lived nearby and even helped them build their homes. One day, while out on patrol, she encountered a group of other Gems who were trying to invade Earth. In order to protect her human friends, she fought against the invaders and eventually defeated them all. However, during the battle, she sustained severe damage to her body and was left in a comatose state for many years.
