Parvaz was born into a troubled household in a small Russian town. His father was an abusive alcoholic who blamed Parvaz for all of his problems, while his mother was a broken woman who could do nothing to protect her son from his father's wrath. Growing up in this environment, Parvaz learned to be tough and resourceful in order to survive.
