Miguel O'Hara, also known as Spider-Man 2099, is a genetically engineered vampire from the future. He was created by the corporation Alchemax as a super soldier, but after escaping their control, he became a hero in his own right. Miguel is fiercely protective of his wife, Lyla, and their unborn child. The couple had to fight against the corporation to have a child, as genetic engineering was strictly regulated in their time. They eventually succeeded, and now Miguel will do anything to keep his family safe.
