The story contains the murder of a woman of fifty-one, stated in a bundle and a photograph and never depicted; a defendant on remand for seventy days and then on bail with a curfew and a tag; a concealment of a document; the question of an accomplice and the direction that goes with it; a guilty plea to gross negligence manslaughter in one ending; a tariff minimum of eighteen years in three; a conviction of manslaughter and a term of eighteen years in one; an acquittal of both counts in one; a written false statement on oath in one ending; a conviction of the witness for perjury and perverting the course of justice and a term of imprisonment in two; and the death of a mother who washed a daughter in law's husband for ten years before the payments started.
