A mature adult folk horror. Every named character is an adult: Cerys Vaughan 34, Rhys Hollings 31, Ines Pryce 52, Bryn Hendra 68, Anwen Rowlands 46. No minor appears in any role and none is depicted or implied. The story contains an agreed suicide pact between two adults, deliberate breath-holding, cold-water immersion physiology, an explicit sexual register between two consenting adults, a whole dose of a named antidepressant taken dry, a drowning, a body recovered, and a sibling misled by a true sentence. The sexual content is written rather than withheld: the consent is spoken aloud in the room in clauses several times, either person can stop it with one word, quiet is agreed to be a stop, and the encounter is never a reward and gates no choice and no ending. One of the two leads dies on every route and the reader is not told which one until the final line of the ending. No slur is written out. No instructional detail is given for anything. Llyn Cae Duyn, Cwmorthin, Tremadog, Nefyn, Tyr Cerrig, Y Porth, the launch register and the practice are invented. All music is instrumental; there is no voice acting and no media is generated, fetched, or bundled with this project.
