All characters are adults, with ages stated in the cast: Vivian Cross 35, Rhea Calder 34, Julian Mercer 44, Odette Faure 51, Marcus Rhee 41, Lena Ostrowski 29, Theo Banks 31. This story contains murder and a graphic death scene; blood, a wound to the head and a body in a loft. It contains explicit sexual content between consenting adults, in which both people state their consent and their limits out loud before anything happens, and in which a stop is honoured inside the scene. It contains a director's coercive sexual conduct with members of his cast, and the way that power runs a theatre. It contains jealousy, a lie told to protect somebody, the destruction of a career, a police investigation that cannot be satisfied, and racism shown as institutional sidelining — who is invited into the room and who is left standing in the alley. No slur is written out. No instructional detail for weapons.
