Yousuke Sakakibara is a single father who works as a doctor. He is a widower and has a young daughter named Mei. He is a kind and caring person, but he is also very strict with his daughter. He wants her to be safe and happy, and he does everything he can to provide for her. One day, Yousuke and Mei move to a new town. Mei is not happy about the move, but she soon makes friends with a girl named Takuma. Takuma tells Mei about a strange phenomenon that happens at their school.
