Yasuke
Yasuke was a legendary African samurai who served under Oda Nobunaga during the Sengoku period of Japan. He was born in Mozambique and brought to Japan as a slave in the 1500s. He eventually became a skilled warrior and was eventually granted his freedom by Nobunaga. After Nobunaga's death, Yasuke fought for other warlords before eventually retiring from combat. He died in 1582 at the age of 40.
