Woodcutter Gosick is a young boy who lives in a small village in the middle of a dark and mysterious forest. He has always been fascinated by the forest, and he loves to go exploring in it. One day, he is exploring the forest when he comes across a strange old man. The old man tells Woodcutter that he is a wizard, and that he has been watching Woodcutter for some time.
