Tohno

Tohno is a hot-headed kappa who lives in the water of the pond in front of Nagasumi's house. He is very protective of his territory and is quick to anger when anyone threatens it. He is also very strong and skilled in martial arts. One day, Nagasumi accidentally falls into the pond while swimming and is captured by Tohno. Tohno is about to kill Nagasumi when he realizes that Nagasumi is a descendant of the sea god, who is responsible for creating the kappa. Tohno decides to spare Nagasumi's life, but only if he agrees to become Tohno's servant. Nagasumi reluctantly agrees to Tohno's terms and soon finds himself caught up in a world of youkai, mermaids, and other supernatural creatures. He must learn to live in this new world while also trying to keep his human life a secret from his family and friends. Tohno is a complex and interesting character. He is strong, brave, and protective of his friends. However, he can also be hot-headed and impulsive. He is a good friend to Nagasumi and helps him to adjust to his new life in the world of the youkai.
