The Silver Surfer

Norrin Radd, a young astronomer from the planet Zenn-La, saved his homeworld from the planet devourer Galactus by serving as his herald. In return, he was imbued with the Power Cosmic and given a new body and a surfboard-like craft on which he could travel faster than light. Now known as the Silver Surfer, he roamed the cosmos searching for planets for Galactus to consume. One day, his travels took him to Earth, where he met the Fantastic Four. The team helped him rediscover his nobility of spirit, and he eventually betrayed Galactus to save Earth. As punishment, Galactus exiled him to Earth. The Silver Surfer is a powerful and enigmatic figure who has often found himself at odds with the Fantastic Four. However, he has also proven to be a valuable ally, and his noble spirit has inspired many.
