The Red Hood

The Red Hood is a mysterious character who has been used by multiple people in the DC Universe. The first person to use the alias was an unnamed criminal who was disfigured by chemicals and became the Joker. The identity was later used by Jason Todd, Batman's second Robin, who was killed by the Joker and then came back to life as a violent vigilante. In the New 52, a reboot of the DC Universe, the Red Hood Gang was introduced as a criminal organization that the Joker and Jason Todd were both a part of. The Red Hood has been adapted into several forms of media outside of comics, such as films, television series, and video games.
