Tencent QQ was founded in 1998 by a group of young entrepreneurs in Shenzhen, China. They had a vision to create an online platform that would connect people from all over the world and provide them with a fun and engaging way to communicate. At the time, the internet was still in its infancy, and most people were using dial-up connections to access the web.
