Tama Tonga is a professional wrestler who is currently signed to New Japan Pro-Wrestling (NJPW). He is a member of the Bullet Club stable and is the current IWGP Tag Team Champion with Tanga Loa. Tonga was born in San Francisco, California, but grew up in Tonga. He began wrestling in 2006 and made his debut for NJPW in 2010. He has since become one of the most popular wrestlers in the company, known for his aggressive style and his charismatic personality. Tonga is a two-time IWGP Tag Team Champion, having previously held the title with Karl Anderson. He is also a former NEVER Openweight Champion and a former IWGP Junior Heavyweight Tag Team Champion.
