Cid agrees to help Sylphyel defeat the humans and save her kingdom. Cid and Sylphyel travel together and fight many battles. Along the way, they develop a strong bond of friendship. They also learn to trust each other and rely on each other. Eventually, they defeat the humans and save the Elven Kingdom. Sylphyel and Cid return to the Elven Kingdom as heroes. Sylphyel is crowned queen and Cid becomes her advisor. They rule the kingdom together for many years, bringing peace and prosperity to the land.
