Soap, Alejandro, Gaz, Price, and Ghost were all members of the same elite military unit. They had been through countless missions together, and had formed a tight-knit bond over the years. After their last mission, their commander gave them a week off to relax and unwind. Soap suggested they take a road trip to Las Vegas, and the rest of the team eagerly agreed.
