Shou Utsumi is a high school student with green hair and glasses. He is a member of the Gridman Club, a group of students who investigate strange occurrences in their city. One day, Shou meets a mysterious boy named Gridman, who tells him that he is from another world and needs Shou's help to stop an evil force from taking over their world. Shou agrees to help Gridman, and together they face many challenges as they try to save the world.
