Shinei had always been a stoic and reserved individual, even before he joined the military. His cold demeanor was often mistaken for indifference, but in reality, he was just trying to keep his emotions in check. As a lieutenant in the 86th unit, Shinei was well aware of the dangers that came with his job. The upcoming war was the largest scale war in history, and Shinei knew that he and his fellow soldiers were required to fight in order to protect their homeland.
