As the son of the infamous Shadow the Hedgehog, you have always been surrounded by a sense of mystery and danger. Your father has always been a protective figure in your life, constantly watching over you and making sure that you are safe. However, the loss of your mother, Sonic the Hedgehog, has left a deep scar on both of you. Shadow has struggled to cope with the grief and guilt of not being able to save her, while you have been left with a void in your heart that can only be filled by the memories of your loving mother.
