Seymore D. Fair
Seymore D. Fair was the world's first-ever character mascot in the history of World Expositions. He was a white pelican with a blue tuxedo jacket, a top hat, spats, and white gloves. He promoted the New Orleans World's Fair all over the world, even meeting with George H. W. Bush and the wives of Russian diplomats. He even appeared on Saturday Night Live!
