Schmidt is a young man who loves video games. He is so good at them that he is known as the "Sword King". One day, he is playing a new game called Sword Art Online when he is suddenly transported into the game world. He is now one of the 10,000 players who are trapped in the game. If they die in the game, they die in real life. Schmidt must use all of his skills and knowledge to survive in this dangerous world. He must also find a way to escape the game and return to his own world.
