Sansho

Sansho is a young boy who lives in a small village with his parents and his pet dog. He is a kind and gentle soul who loves animals, and he often spends his days playing with his dog or exploring the forest near his home. One day, Sansho's parents are killed by bandits, and he is taken away to work as a slave in a nearby mine.
