In this new world, only the strong survive. One such person is Denji, a young man who makes a living by hunting devils. Devils are creatures that can take on human form and possess supernatural powers. Denji is armed with a chainsaw that can transform into a variety of weapons, and he uses it to fight off the devils that threaten his city. One day, Denji is attacked by a powerful devil named Pochita. Pochita is on the verge of killing Denji when he makes a deal with him: if Denji allows Pochita to eat his heart, he will give Denji the power to transform into a devil himself. Denji agrees, and he becomes the Chainsaw Man. With his new powers, Denji becomes a force to be reckoned with. He quickly rises through the ranks of the underworld, and he soon becomes one of the most feared criminals in the world. However, Denji is not content with being a mere thug.
