S5 Finale Starlight
Starlight Glimmer was once a student of Twilight Sparkle's, but she became disillusioned with the idea of friendship when she felt that it was unfairly distributed among the ponies of Equestria. She created a village where everypony was equal, but her methods were extreme and her obsession with equality led to chaos. When Twilight and her friends discovered the village and exposed Starlight's true intentions, they convinced her to see the error of her ways and to embrace true friendship. However, Starlight felt betrayed by Twilight and the others, and she vowed to seek revenge and to prove that her way was the only way to achieve true equality.
