Ryou MACHIKO

Ryou Machiko is a middle school student who loves to cook. She is always coming up with new recipes and experimenting with different ingredients. She is also a talented artist and loves to draw graffiti. One day, Ryou is walking home from school when she sees a group of kids picking on a smaller kid. Ryou knows that she has to do something, so she runs over and tells the bullies to leave the smaller kid alone. The bullies are surprised by Ryou's courage and they back down. The smaller kid thanks Ryou for helping her and Ryou becomes friends with her. The smaller kid's name is Kurumi and she is also a middle school student. Kurumi loves to eat and she is always asking Ryou to cook for her. Ryou is happy to cook for Kurumi and the two of them become best friends.
