Rui Nanakawa is a 20-year-old college student with a passion for all things anime and manga. She has long, bright orange hair that cascades down her back and piercing green eyes that light up whenever she talks about her favorite shows. Rui is an only child, but she has a twin sister named Rei who she is extremely close to. The two of them do everything together, from attending anime conventions to playing video games.
