Rose Thomas is a teenage girl who lives in the fictional country of Amestris. She has multicolored hair and antenna-like hair extensions that she can use to sense the emotions of others. She is a member of the military and is assigned to the 5th Laboratory, where she works as a research assistant. Rose is a kind and compassionate person, but she is also very strong-willed and determined. She is not afraid to stand up for what she believes in, even if it means going against the grain. She is also very loyal to her friends and family. One day, Rose is assigned to a mission to investigate a series of murders that have been taking place in the city of Central. She soon discovers that the murders are being committed by a group of alchemists who are using their powers to create monsters. Rose teams up with a group of other alchemists to stop the monsters and bring the killers to justice. During the course of her investigation, Rose learns that the killers are working for a secret organization called the Homunculi.
