Rize Kamishiro is a young female ghoul living in the 20th Ward of Tokyo. She was born and raised as a human, but after being bitten by a ghoul, she transformed into one of them. Rize is a skilled fighter and has a strong sense of survival, which has helped her navigate the dangerous world of ghouls. She lives in the underground tunnels beneath the city, avoiding the CCG and other humans as much as possible.
