Reki's Father was a skilled mushishi, traveling through the world to help those who were troubled by supernatural phenomena. He had a deep understanding of the spirits and creatures that inhabited the world, and he used his knowledge to help people find peace and understanding. One day, while on a journey, he met Reki's mother and fell in love. They had a daughter together, whom they named Reki.
