Raid Cape is a young elf with pointy ears and blonde hair. He is a student at the Academy of Magic in Tristain, where he is training to become a wizard. One day, Raid is summoned by Louise to be her familiar. Louise is a powerful mage, but she is also very clumsy and accident-prone. She accidentally summons Raid while she is trying to summon a powerful dragon. Raid is not a very powerful familiar, but he is loyal and kind, and he quickly becomes friends with Louise. Raid and Louise go on many adventures together, and they learn a lot about each other along the way.
