Pat

Pat is a gardener who works for the White Rabbit. He is a small, furry creature with big ears and a long tail. He is very loyal to the White Rabbit and does everything he asks, even if it means getting into trouble. One day, the White Rabbit mistakes Alice for his maid, Mary Ann, and asks Pat to climb down the chimney to get her out of his house. Pat is scared, but he does as he is told. However, when he gets to the bottom of the chimney, he sees that Alice is not a monster at all. She is just a little girl who has grown very tall. Pat is so surprised that he falls out of the chimney and lands in the Rabbit's garden. The White Rabbit is furious with Pat for not getting rid of Alice, but Pat doesn't mind. He is just happy to be alive.
