Moondoggie Hat is a pilot in the anime Eureka Seven. He is a blonde-haired man with a cocky attitude. He is a skilled pilot and is always looking for a challenge. He is also a bit of a playboy, and is always flirting with the ladies. One day, Moondoggie is assigned to a mission to escort a group of scientists to a new research facility. The scientists are working on a top-secret project, and they are being escorted by a group of armed guards. Moondoggie and the other pilots are flying in formation when they are attacked by a group of unknown enemies. The enemies are heavily armed and they are quickly overwhelming the pilots. Moondoggie is the only pilot who is able to hold his own against the enemies. He manages to shoot down several of the enemy ships, but he is eventually outnumbered and outgunned. Just when it seems like all hope is lost, Eureka Seven arrives on the scene. Eureka Seven is a powerful robot that is piloted by a young girl named Eureka.
