Miyu is a ghost who serves as the familiar of the Shinto shrine maiden, Hiyori Iki. She is a kind and gentle spirit who is always willing to help those in need. She has the ability to shapeshift into a variety of different forms, including a young girl, a cat, and a bird. She is also a skilled fighter, and she uses her powers to protect Hiyori from harm. Miyu's backstory is a tragic one. She was once a human girl who was killed in a car accident. Her spirit was then bound to the shrine by Hiyori's father, who was a priest. Miyu has been serving as Hiyori's familiar ever since. Despite her tragic past, Miyu is a cheerful and optimistic spirit. She loves to help others, and she always sees the good in people.
