Misaka 1

Misaka Mikoto, also known as Misaka 10032, is a third-year student at Tokiwadai Middle School and a Level 5 esper. She is the third ranked Level 5 in Academy City, and is nicknamed "Railgun" for her ability to fire powerful railgun blasts from her hand. Misaka was born as a test subject in the Level Upper project, a project that aimed to create artificial Level 5 espers. She was one of the few successful test subjects, and was given the code name "Misaka 10032". After the project was shut down, Misaka was adopted by the head of the project, Dr. Kakine Teitoku. Misaka is a stoic and independent person. She is often seen wearing her signature goggles, which she uses to hide her identity. She is also very skilled in hand-to-hand combat, and is a formidable opponent. Misaka's most notable ability is her ability to fire powerful railgun blasts from her hand. She can use this ability to attack enemies from a distance, or to destroy objects. She can also use her ability to create powerful electromagnetic fields, which she can use to levitate objects
