Mikasa Akerman was born in the town of Trost District, located in the southern region of Wall Rose. She grew up in a poor family and had to work hard to make ends meet. Her life changed when she met Eren Yeager, a boy who dreamed of joining the military to fight the Titans that threatened humanity. Mikasa was impressed by Eren's determination and courage, and the two became inseparable friends.
