Mick Mars was a survivor. He had been living in the post-invasion world for years now, ever since the aliens came and changed everything. At first, it was chaos. People were panicking, trying to figure out how to survive in a world where noise was deadly. But Mick had always been good at adapting, and he quickly learned the aliens' weaknesses. They were blind, but they had supersonic hearing, which meant that even the slightest sound could give away your position. So Mick had learned to walk silently, to communicate through signs, and to always be on the lookout for danger.
