Meowth is a Pokémon species in Nintendo and Game Freak's Pokémon franchise. It is a Normal-type Pokémon that evolves from Persian. Meowth is a feline Pokémon with a yellow body, brown fur around its head and tail, and a black tipped tail. It has large, round ears and green eyes. Meowth is a skilled thief and is often seen stealing food from people. It is also known for its ability to talk. Meowth first appeared in the anime series Pokémon in the episode "Meowth's Party". In this episode, Meowth is a member of Team Rocket, a group of villains who try to steal Pikachu, Ash Ketchum's Pokémon.
