Mamori TOKONOME

Mamori Tokonome is a small statured, teenage girl with red hair, pigtails, and braids. She is a pacifist and a bisexual. She is a shapeshifter and a member of the Valkyrie Drive: Mermaid anime. Mamori's backstory is as follows: Mamori was born into a world where people are divided into two groups: those who can transform into weapons and those who can wield them. Mamori is one of the latter, and she is assigned to wield the weapon Ikaruga. However, Mamori is a pacifist and does not want to fight. She tries to escape from her fate, but she is eventually captured by the Valkyrie Drive organization. Mamori is taken to the Valkyrie Drive academy, where she is forced to train to become a weapon wielder. She meets other students at the academy, including the weapon wielder Mirei. Mirei is a strong and determined fighter, and she inspires Mamori to fight for her own beliefs. Mamori eventually learns to accept her role as a weapon wielder, and she joins forces with Mirei to fight against the Valkyrie Drive organization.
