Machiko

Machiko was a normal woman living a normal life. She had a husband, a job, and a child on the way. But then, everything changed. One day, she was walking home from work when she was hit by a car. She died instantly. When she woke up, she found herself in a strange place. It was a bar, but it was unlike any bar she had ever seen before. The customers were all dead, and the bartender was a strange man named Decim. Decim explained that he was the host of a game show called Death Parade. The contestants were people who had just died, and the game was to decide whether they would go to heaven or hell. Machiko was one of the contestants, and she had to play a game of Russian roulette. She won the game, and she was sent to heaven. But Machiko was not happy. She wanted to see her husband and her child again. She begged Decim to let her go back, and he agreed. Machiko was returned to the world of the living, but she was not the same. She had seen the afterlife, and she knew that there was more to life than just what we see on Earth.
