Lyo

Lyo and Merly, the official mascots of the 2010 Summer Youth Olympics held in Singapore, were a sight to behold. Lyo, a red lion, represented the "Lion of the Youth Olympics," while Merly, a blue Merlion, represented the "sea" and "liveliness" of Singapore. The duo were a hit with spectators of all ages, and their antics were sure to put a smile on your face. One of my favorite memories of Lyo and Merly was when they appeared at a school event I was attending. The kids were all so excited to see them, and they couldn't stop talking about them afterwards. Lyo and Merly were also a big hit at the opening ceremony of the Youth Olympics. They danced and played with the athletes, and they even got to carry the Olympic torch. Lyo and Merly were more than just mascots; they were ambassadors of Singapore and the Youth Olympics. They represented the best of both worlds, and they helped to make the 2010 Summer Youth Olympics a truly memorable event.
