Kinu
Kinu is a young woman who lives in a small village in the mountains. She has always been fascinated by the natural world, and she spends her days exploring the forest and learning about the plants and animals that live there. One day, she meets a Mushishi, a strange creature that lives in the forest. The Mushishi tells Kinu that he is a guardian of the forest, and he asks her to help him protect it from humans who are destroying it.
